Faith FAQs in 5: Why Can't Non-Catholics receive the Eucharist?
Many understandably think this rule Catholics have is unwelcoming, when in reality, it's protecting them from potential sin and harm. If you have not already, please watch this video which explains what Catholics really believe about the Eucharist: https://youtu.be/y-Xj_LYkC_A?si=7eFK5j0hBS0dK6k2 Amen means "So be it" or "I agree" or "I believe," so to receive and say amen is a lie if you are not catholic. Likewise Catholics should not receive at other denominations' churches for the same reason.

Faith FAQs in Five: Do we REALLY eat Jesus' Body?!
"If it's just a symbol, to hell with it." -Catholic Author, Flannery O'Connor. We as Catholics believe that we are literally eating Christ's body and drinking his blood. No, we are not cannibals, but we must first understand what ACTUALLY is taking place. Transubstantiation is the process of changing the substance of something. This happens every Mass during the Epiclesis. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the substance of the bread and wine change into the substance of the Body and Blood. The accidence (the physical characteristics) do not change! That's why our senses do not perceive a change.

Faith FAQs in Five: Why Did Jesus Have to Die to Save Us?
If God is all powerful, why couldn't he just save us? Why did his only son have to Die for our sins? Because our God gave us free will which means we can sin and that sin needs atonement. Jesus is the unblemished lamb who was slain to save us from death. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

Faith FAQs in Five: Why Did God Become Man?
If God is all powerful, why would he lower himself to become human? The answer is... because he loves us and wants us to KNOW HOW to be happy. Thank you Jesus for showing us the way!
